    Pillar Innovations is now accepting applications along with resumes for a full-time Sales Representative.  The Sales Representative will work individually and/or as a part of a team to provide support to new and existing customer’s systems and components in various industries that may include, but are not limited to: Energy, Mining, Concrete, Oil and Gas, Aggregate, Food & Drug / General Industry, etc. Primary responsibilities include but limited to: prospecting, cold-calling, setting appointments, providing support to the current customer base and coordinating customer requirements with Project Managers and Division Management.  This position is results-oriented and candidates must be flexible and willing to work extended hours.  This position will require travel to customer sites with some over-night/out-of-town stay.  The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.   

    The Sales Representative will be based out of the Pillar Innovations’ office, located in Morgantown, WV.  Areas of operations include, but are not limited to:  West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC Metro Area, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and New Jersey.

    Job Responsibilities:


    • Develop and execute a prospecting plan to cultivate new and existing customers; grow existing business
    • Forecast Sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
    • Identify, pursue and report emerging opportunities in the market place by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements
    • Maintain and expand client database within assigned territory
    • Respond to customer requests for quotations and other information
    • Create and present proposals to customers with support from the operations team
    • Coordinate customer projects, requirements and expectations with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Coordinate with Project Managers regarding job progress and forecasting
    • Provide feedback and reporting to the management team relative to prospecting, leads and conversion rate
    • Develop, cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with both existing and new customers
    • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
    • Visit job sites and other locations to seek feedback and insight from customers regarding current and upcoming projects
    • Meet personal and team sales targets

    Job Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years experience in manufacturing, industrial or aggregate industry sales experience is preferred
    • BA/BS Degree or equivalent preferred
    • Combination of both education and work experience will be considered
    • Consistent sales performance with a track record of over-achieving quota, ability to organically grow business by providing solutions to new client base
    • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
    • Proficient with computers
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Skill in dealing with the public in a manner which will facilitate any constructive problem solving
    • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
    • Self-motivated and driven
    • Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations. Ability to meet deadlines.
    • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
    • This position is subject to the Pillar Innovations’ Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which includes: pre-employment testing, post-accident testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return to duty testing, and follow-up testing

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    1. Must possess a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment 
    1. This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
