  • Overview

    The Regional Sales Representative will provide support to new and existing customer’s in various industries that may include, but are not limited to: Energy, Mining, Concrete, Oil and Gas, Aggregate, Food & Drug / General Industry, etc. Primary responsibilities include prospecting, cold-calling, setting appointments, providing support to the current customer base and coordinating customer requirements with Project Managers and Division Management. This position is results-oriented, and the successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.

    This position is based out of the Pillar Innovations’ office, located in Farmington, NM, and will be responsible for covering the territory of New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a prospecting plan to cultivate new and existing customers; grow existing business
    • Maintain and expand client database and relationships within assigned territory
    • Forecast Sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
    • Identify, pursue and report emerging opportunities in the market place by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements
    • Respond to customer requests for quotations and other information
    • Create and present proposals to customers with support from the operations team
    • Coordinate customer projects, requirements and expectations with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Coordinate with Project Managers regarding job progress and forecasting
    • Provide feedback and reporting to the management team relative to prospecting, leads and conversion rate
    • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
    • Visit job sites and other locations to seek feedback and insight from customers regarding current and upcoming projects
    • Meet personal and team sales targets
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Valid Driver’s License
    • 1+ year experience in manufacturing, industrial or aggregate industry sales experience is preferred
    • BA/BS Degree or combination of both education and work experience
    • Consistent sales performance and proven ability to organically grow business by providing solutions to new client base
    • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
    • Ability to work under stress, handle stressful situations, and consistently meet deadlines
    • Verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated professionalism to customers and co-workers
    • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
    • Self-motivated and driven
    • Proficient with computers
    • Willingness to undergo a thorough background and drug screening process
