    Pillar is currently on the lookout for a Shop Laborer to join our Morgantown, WV team. The Shop Laborer will provide physical and general labor to a wide range of trades through various construction, mechanical and industrial projects. This is considered a semi-skilled position that requires a mechanical knowledge and aptitude, along with a basic knowledge of general construction trades. Usual working hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7:00AM– 3:30PM, which may vary based on business needs. The Shop Laborer will report directly to the Logistics Coordinator.


    • Provide physical labor and general labor to construction trades and to various construction, industrial and mechanical projects
    • Assist in a variety of work such as: assembly, inventory control, carpentry, electrical, and general labor
    • Materials handling and storage
    • Load and unload trucks, tools, materials as needed
    • Stage tools and materials and assist skilled workers as required
    • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
    • Provide detailed paperwork, and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing and inventory
    • Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles in a professional and workman-like manner
    • Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures
    • Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas of the company as required
    • Other Duties as Assigned


    • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
    • 1+ years of general construction, building or mechanical experience or equivalent technical education and training 
    • Must possess knowledge of materials, equipment and tools used throughout construction trades
    • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule that may include extended hours, weekends, holidays, evenings and possible night shift
    • Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude
    • Must be able to work well with co-workers in a team environment
    • Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety and safe practices
    • Willingness to undergo a background and drug screening process
