Pillar Innovations is now accepting applications for a full-time Mechanical Engineer II. The general role of the Mechanical Engineer II – Engineering & Automation is to provide Mechanical Engineering for a wide range of projects as they progress from concept to installation. The projects vary greatly and consist of anything from custom electromechanical equipment, structures, and robotics, to workstations or equipment mounting. This position will direct and supervise other Engineering Personnel as assigned. This individual will work in conjunction with engineers and project managers. The work will be performed in the office, shop, and at customer sites as needed.
This individual possesses an advanced understanding of mechanical engineering design principles and requires an aptitude and willingness for both hands-on work in the shop or field and computer design work in an office setting. This position must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include travel and overtime as needed. Overnight travel is typically on an infrequent basis.
The Mechanical Engineer II will report to a Senior Engineer or other Management as assigned and work primarily out of the Grantsville location.
